“In the next few months, everywhere Zoran Zaev goes so will the dishonest political pledge to the middle classes of 850 euro’s a month per family, made by previous SDSM party figureheads, when they promised that one member from every family will be employed”, says a spokesman from ruling VMRO-DPMNE party in reaction to a statement from the SDSM leader Zoran Zaev made on his visit to Stip today.
The VMRO-DPMNE spokesman went on to say that the lack of imagination and absence of concrete solutions had pushed the SDSM to the point of desperation to conjure up this “unrealistic and disingenuous solution for improving the living standards of the Macedonian people.”
“Ever since SDSM created itself a fiasco with their lies concerning the notion of ‘ a single member from each family’ the strategists in the SDSM had constantly shown that they have not learnt from their own mistakes even with time-lags, pointing out the 850 euro’s income per family. Neither Zaev, or anyone else in the SDSM will provide funds, nor, can Zaev or anyone else in the SDSM create a middle class out of thin air. So, the repeated and widespread promotion of such deceptions makes clear that even the most optimistic amongst the SDSM leadership are expecting victory in the upcoming elections, hence, they hope, with such populist promises to attract maximum media attention and hopefully some interest from the Macedonian voters, although they are shamelessly looking the electorate straight in the eye and lying”, said a written response from the governing VMRO-DPMNE Party.
