VMRO-DPMNE completely opposes the efforts for ignoring and misusing the will of the majority of Macedonians including the will of members of the remaining ethnic communities that gave their votes for the “For a Better Macedonia” coalition, said VMRO-DPMNE ‘s press release.
The press release further states that “the realization of the platform from Tirana and the effort for imposing the Albanian language as an official, presents a redefinition of Macedonia and it goes in the opposite direction of the multiethnic character of the state, by placing the members of the remaining ethnic communities in a subordinate position”.
The Executive Committee concluded that the party and the elected MPs will stand up to the bringing of a catastrophic law such as this one and that they will take appropriate measures to protect the will of the majority – said the party.
