The truth is that VMRO-DPMNE has proper documentation for all assets that it owns and the entire property has been acquired legally, and values that Shilegov told today are incorrect,” reacts VMRO-DPMNE to the press conference held today by SDSM spokesman Petre Shilegov.
“VMRO-DPMNE announced a public call for proposals for co-investor for construction of a building on land that is owned by the political party VMRO-DPMNE. The entire process is transparent and in compliance with legal norms, published in four newspapers, which indicates that construction activities are not secret. Bidders offered a percentage of gross developed area that would have ceded the owner of the construction land (in this case, VMRO-DPMNE), which was also one of the criteria for selecting the best bidder, and that rate should not be below 30% of gross developed area, which means that a private investor builds on the land owned by VMRO-DPMNE for its own commercial purposes, and in turn have to cede at least 30% of useful built area of VMRO-DPMNE. In this case, VMRO-DPMNE has no cost for construction of the facility,” reads the statement by the ruling party.
