Yesterday, VMRO-DPMNE announced that they are planning to file a lawsuit with the Administrative court because of the decision made by the SEC which approved the BESA Movement’s complaint and annulled the results of the vote in the municipality of Gostivar in Constituency 6.
“This illegal decision made by the State Election Commission directly influences the total voting results, and will damage the Coalition for a Better Macedonia and is disputing the clearly stated will of the majority of the Macedonian people”, announced VMRO-DPMNE.
The party’s representatives state that within the framework of the lawsuit, VMRO-DPMNE’s and the Coalition for Better Macedonia’s legal department has submitted numerous evidence and documents that are confirming that SEC’s decision was illegal and unfounded.
In its announcement, VMRO-DPMNE urged people not to pressurize the Administrative court and allow the judges to make their decisions, on the basis of the law.
“Any other action would be forgery and theft of the clearly stated will of the citizens with post-electoral engineering”, stated the announcement.
