According to indirect confirmation we received a statement by the LDP leader Goran Milevski, and from that, it is more than obvious that SDSM wants the elections to be postponed, said the VMRO-DPMNE.
They believe the process of the selection of experts for members of the State Election Commission is as a standstill because SDSM finds no candidate acceptable.
It has been said, that there has been an agreement on two members who are Macedonian, while SDSM did not agree with the name of the expert who was Albanian, and had been selected by both DUI and the DPA, the two largest Albanian political parties.
The ruling party brief that they will not agree for foreigners to propose concrete solutions, i.e. names and say that the Parliament will take decisions on the basis of sovereignty of its citizens. They add that many foreigners have helped, but that “there is a red line that must sometimes be pulled.”
Also, the VMRO-DPMNE find it unacceptable there be any delay in the elections because the crisis has lasted too long and adversely affected the economic situation of the citizens.
