VMRO-DPMNE: If elections are not held on April 24, the Przhino Agreement is invalid

-

Ivo Koteski, spokesman for the VMRO-DPMNE told “Meta” that if elections are not held on April 24, then the Przhino Agreement does not apply, after the media had been reporting that there may be a possibility for elections to be moved to June 26.

According to the media, talks with EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn could lead to moving the election date of April 24 to June 26.

“Postponing the elections is out of the question. We met all the obligations under the Przhino Agreement and fulfilled our end of the agreement. This crisis has to be resolved as soon as possible, and not to make the situation worse. If the election date is moved, then the Przhino Agreement will be invalid”, said Ivo Koteski.

Meanwhile, the SDSM maintains their attitude that they will never again participate in criminal elections.

“Our position is clear. We will not go ahead and participate in another st of criminal elections. Many of the obligations have not been fulfilled, such as, the obligations of the SEC revising the electoral roll. We have not talked about moving the date of the election, but we have a clear goal – and that is fair and democratic process”, said Vice-President of the SDSM, Radmila Shekerinska.
