VMRO-DPMNE filed 22 complaints with the SEC

-

VMRO-DPMNE and the Coalition for a Better Macedonia, TMRO and the Alliance for Albanians are the only parties that have filed complaints to the State Election Commission regarding the procedure for voting, tabulating and determining results, said the SEC.

The opposition VMRO-DPMNE filed 22 complaints in total, some of which are for the voting procedure, and part for the tabulation of votes. For the time being, it has not been revealed how many of the complaints are related to the voting itself, and how much of the count, nor which municipalities are the complaints of VMRO-DPMNE.

The SEC said that Vanco Shehtanski’s party, TMRO, filed two complaints, and the Alliance for Albanians led by Zijadin Sela filed one complaint.

The submitters of the candidate lists were able to file complaints regarding the voting procedure by 19:00, once 48 hours have passed after the end of voting, while the deadline expires at 2:00 am after the deadline for appeals for the procedure for tabulating and determining the results.

The SEC said that tomorrow, after the expiration of the deadline for filing complaints, they will release more detailed information.
