MPs from VMRO-DPMNE called on Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Minister of Labour and Social Policy Mila Carovska to attend today’s public debate on the government’s strategy and action plan for migrants, refugees and foreigners, 2017-2027, at the Commission’s session for Labour and Social Policy.
“We invite Zaev and Carovska to explain and justify their strong support for the strategy on migrants, refugees and foreigners, as well as responding to a number of issues that are important for the country and for many of the municipalities,” reads the statement from MPs of VMRO-DPMNE.
They stated that at the last public debate,. the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Elmi Aziri did not answer any of the questions put to her, including how much money from the budget of the Republic of Macedonia will be allocated for the implementation of the strategy in the next 10 years? Which projects will be implemented this year and next year? As well as which municipalities will implement permanent accommodation of migrants, refugees and foreigners?
“With the latest strategy of the Government, Zoran Zaev, is turing Macedonia from a transit country for migrants into a country for permanent accommodation and residence of a large number of people from various countries,” says VMRO-DPMNE.
