Hundreds of guests, mostly from Greece, but also from Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia and other countries, are staying on the banks of Ohrid Lake for a holiday, Easter weekend.
The most visited, by about 150 guests from Greece, is the hotel “Drim” in Struga. In Ohrid, tourists are located mainly in smaller hotels.
Cold weather and snow that falls today as well on the surrounding mountains didn’t prevent the guests to traditionally arrive for the Catholic Easter.
Their presence can be seen on the city quay promenade, restaurants, shops and numerous churches in the old urban core of Ohrid.
