Vanhoutte on Gruevski’s attacks: If you don’t like the message, kill the messenger

“If you do not like the message kill the messenger” was the reply of the Belgian facilitator Peter Vanhoutte, when asked to comment on yesterday’s speech by the President of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, where he mentioned his name.

Otherwise, members of political parties, representatives from working groups met again this afternoon at the MPs Clubhouse to discuss reforms in the media and the methodology for the cleansing of the electoral roll.

Before the meeting Mr Vanhoutte stated that they would be looking into new proposals for the Law on the Media.

“Today we will be having a meeting, and be looking into new proposals for the media and I hope that we will make some progress. These are proposals put forward by VMRO-DPMNE, and they are a response to previous proposals put forward by SDSM. I have not seen the proposals and do not know they contain, will be a surprise for all”, said Mr Vanhoutte.
