The Director of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual services (AAAS), Zoran Trajcevski has denied the accusations by VMRO-DPMNE’s party leader, Nikola Gruevski and has rejected the demands for his resignation.
-The Agency for Audio and Audiovisual services is working in accordance with the laws and there isn’t any kind of pressure on the media. I don’t plan to resign on request of a leader of a political party – said Trajchevski for Meta agency.
The leader of the opposition party VMRO-DPMNE, in the last night’s speech after the second round of the local elections, said that he doesn’t recognize the results and that he demands early parliamentary elections according to the Przino model. He has also demanded a change of the director of (AAAS) because the agency didn’t react to the pressures that were made on the media during the election campaign.
