President of the Democratic Alliance and MP Pavle Trajanov submitted request to Speaker of the Assembly Trajko Veljanoski, to convene a plenary session to discuss the current political situation in the country, after the action “Puch” and after recordings of wiretapped conversations released by opposition leader Zoran Zaev.

“Through public presentation of audio recordings, the credibility and integrity of some of the ministers and officials is seriously disturbed due to the presented information about their “involvement” in violation of election rules, impact on judicial institutions, the media, businessmen. Especially concerning is the fact that recently are published videos taken of special investigative measures (SIM), and the lack of response of the state authorities creates founded assumption that they published it, while on press conferences are published private conversations which greatly violate the privacy of citizens,” reads Trajanov’s request.

President of the Democratic Alliance requests Veljanoski to do everything in his power in the work of the Assembly to include MPs from SDSM and other political opposition parties.

For the session, Trajanov requests provision of information, reports and documents from the relevant committees and institutions, such as Public Prosecution, Ministry of Interior, Government, as well as materials presented in the public by media and posted on video service “YouTube”.
