-

After last nights attacks in Paris, the tragic death toll is now more than 160 people, and 200 wounded. At the moment 30,000 Police officers have set about the streets of Paris, while the French Government meet continuously.

According to the investigation so far, it is widely believed that the terrorists were trained at home, in France. Analysts and experts believe that the attack on Paris, according to factors such as the number of locations and the required logistics to carry out such an attack, was even more coordinated than the September 11th attacks in America.

The French Police pointed out that the main attackers have all been killed , however their accomplices are still at large. Besides a large Police presence, they have asked citizens to remain in their homes, as a state of emergency is declared.

An additional 1500 soldiers have been mobilized to help secure the streets of Paris.

In yesterdays attacks, the most casualties were at the Bataclan concert hall, where 80 people lost their lives. In the other 5 attacks, four were in restaurants and one in a shopping centre. Several explosions went off close to the stadium ‘Stade de France’ during a friendly football match between France and Germany.

The President of France, Francois Hollande who was present at the football match, was evacuated from the ‘Stade de France’.

Barack Obama, Angela Merkel and Vladimir Putin have expressed their condolences to the families of the victims of the attacks, and have harshly condemned these acts of terrorism.
