Macedonia this week was in the focus of the world media for three events: Goshince incident, funeral wreath sent to the journalist Borjan Jovanovski, and last night’s running over of 14 immigrants on the railroad Veles – Skopje.

The three incidents that occurred over a period of three days, were reported by world famous media, including “Euronews” “ABC News”, “Huffington Post”, “The Independent,” “The Guardian” and “Washington Times.” The information published includes reports of world famous agency “Reuters”, “Associated Press”, AFP and “Bloomberg”.

However, information about the death of Somali and Afghan immigrants sparked greater interest in world media, because it came after last week’s tragedy in the Mediterranean Sea, in which about 900 illegal immigrants drowned, and yesterday’s extraordinary EU summit for handling people smuggling on the Mediterranean Sea.
