Tomorrow SDSM will boycott the President`s address in Parliament

-

The Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of SDSM Goran Sugareski, today during the session break said that VMRO-DPMNE have violated the Przhino Agreement again by refusing the law on the Public Prosecutions Office of the Special Prosecutor to be able to function and use shortened procedures.

“This just proves Nikola Gruevski’s and VMRO-DPMNE’s fears, that’s why they do not want this law to be introduced through a shortened procedure”, said Mr Sugareski.

When asked by a journalist, he said he had no position on the postponement of the elections and that an analyses are being done on how far the Przhino Agreement has been implemented.

“The information coming out that SDSM want to postpone elections is just something made-up by VMRO-DPMNE. You can see that all deadlines have been missed and VMRO-DPMNE only care about April 24. If the electoral roll isn’t cleaned up, we can’t have elections. We are currently conducting an analysis of the Przhino Agreement, and how much of it has been implemented”, said Sugareski.

He also said that their parliamentary group will not attend tomorrow’s address by President Gjorge Ivanov in Parliament.

Sugareski added, that for them, Ivanov is not the President because both presidential and parliamentary elections were rigged and criminal and that SDSM MPs are only present in Parliament because of the Przhino Agreement.

At the briefing for journalists from VMRO-DPMNE they said they did not support the law on the Public Prosecutor Office because of provisions laid down, already covered by other laws, and other articles of the law are adverse to the principles that operate under other laws.

VMRO-DPMNE said that this law will provide rewards that are three times higher than the average wage.

According to VMRO-DPMNE, employees of the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office must have the same rights and obligations as other employees who are Public Prosecutors.
