About 2,000 people who are working part-time in the health sector a few years now will get decisions for an indefinite period, announced Minister of Health Nikola Todorov at today’s press conference.
He pointed out that the procedure for employment of doctors, nurses, technicians, lawyers and other staff was already under way and 35 percent of the people, i.e. about 700 of them will be employed immediately, while the rest will get their status by September next year.
Priority in the dynamics of employment will have people who were working part time in health facilities the longest.
– About 700 people will be employed immediately, while the rest who are working part-time will be employed for an indefinite period as of 1st of December this year, i.e. from 1st of September 2016. By applying this measure in all public health facilities throughout the country, we will permanently solve existential issue of many people who have been involved in the health institutions as volunteers or only part-time – said Todorov.
