Today, the President of Parliament is expected to sign off on the elections which are scheduled to be held on June the 5th.
“In accordance with the dissolution of Parliament, I, as President of Parliament, acting on the basis of the constitutional framework for announcing elections, have decided to confirm early parliamentary elections and to approve and sign on April 15. Elections are to be held on June 5, 2016, with the sole purpose to provide conditions for free and fair elections”, Veljanoski wrote in a written statement.
