Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will arrive in Ohrid this afternoon, and he will have a working dinner with the Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov.

The official meeting of the two foreign ministers is scheduled for tomorrow. The Foreign Ministry states that the Minister Kotzias’s visit is within the fringes of the continuous dialogue between the two ministers, regarding efforts to overcome the name dispute, as well as the overall improvement of the relations between the two countries.

Regarding the meeting in Ohrid, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev expects additional progress, after the talks of the two ministers in Vienna.

Greece’s Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said in an interview with the German newspaper “Spiegel” that the differences with Skopje can be solved with boldness.

The Ohrid meeting is going to take place a week before the European Commission announces the progress report regarding Macedonia, and Government expects to receive an unconditional recommendation for the start of the negotiations.
