Today Greek farmers will again be blocking the border crossings Bogorodica and Dojran. The blockade will start from 12:00 to 14:00 local time, in other words from 11:00 to 13:00 Macedonian time.
Other than the Macedonian border, farmers are also blocking border crossings from Greece – Albania, and Greece – Bulgaria. The worst situation at the moment is at the border crossing Promachonas to Bulgaria, where Greek farmers announced yesterday that they will block the crossing permanently, without any breaks. The border already has a huge column of cars and truck piling up.
Yesterday evening, after many irritated drivers heading to Bulgaria got involved in tense arguments with the Greek farmers, they lifted the blockade for a short period of time.
