Thimonier: I did not understand the Law on Languages, there is room for improvement in the text

-

I do not think that I am the only one who has failed to understand the Law on Languages because it is a very complicated text, at least in terms of its content, but also, the consequences, and I think there is room for improvement in the text itself, says French Ambassador Christian Thimonier in Sunday’s interview with Radio Free Europe.

The French ambassador says that now starts the stage of implementing the reform priorities and that this is the most complicated part because a lot of energy has been lost in recent years.

He welcomes the fact that VMRO-DPMNE attended NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg speech in Parliament

He says that significant progress has been made in Macedonian-Greek relations and he believes that this progress should be put to use.

“I must say that the new Government has done its best to improve relations with Athens. We noticed that the Greek authorities also showed a spirit of openness, which is something new and creates a different climate, because it takes two to tango, and with the very fact that an agreement has been reached to find a solution, that in itself is positive”, says the French ambassador.
