The trial for the case “Putsch” has been rescheduled for December 21st

-

Court hearings in the Basic Court Skopje 1 as of December 2 were postponed due to the Day of the Tree will be held on Saturday, December 12, except for hearing on the case “Putsch”, which was rescheduled for December 21, the court announced on Thursday.

Among the trials cancelled due the Day of the Tree was the case “Putsch”.

However, the court told “Meta” that the court hearing for “Putsch” will not be held on Saturday, but was rescheduled for December 21st.

The reason the court cited was the short deadline for submitting invitations to defendants.

At the last hearing on the “Putsch” ase which has been repeatedly postponed due to the absence of the SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, one of the defendants, Judge Ljubinka Basheska said if he did not appear in court again she would have to issue a warrant for an escort to court by detainment.

From the SDSM, they responded that Zaev will only appear for trial when the case is transferred to Special Prosecutor, Katica Janeva.

The Special Prosecutor two weeks ago, among others, requested from the Public Prosecutor’s Office and received the case “Putsch”, which Janeva and her team now have to determine whether it is within their jurisdiction and what to do next.
