In the past 24 hours, 1.529 tests were conducted and 89 new COVID-19 cases were registered, informs the Health Ministry. of North Macedonia The Institute for Public Health has registered 215 recovered patients and seven patients died.
Newly infected persons with COVID-19 were registered in the following cities: Skopje-39, Kumanovo-10, Debar-1, Shtip-4, Prilep-8, Tetovo-1, Struga-3, Bitola-1, Ohrid-4, Kavadarci-3, Gostivar-2, Strumica-1, Kriva Palanka-1, Kochani-1, Makedonski Brod-1, Pehcevo-1, Berovo-3, Valandovo-1, Delchevo-2, and Kichevo-2.
Three of the patients who died are from Skopje (aged 72, 84), one from Prilep (65), one patient from Tetovo (62), one from Gostivar (74), and one patient from Kichevo (58). All of the deceased died in hospital.
The total number of COVID diagnosed patients in North Macedonia since the outbreak of the epidemic is 14.004, the number of recovered patients is 10.722. The death toll is 585, and at the moment, the number of active cases in the country is 2.697.
