At today’s session, the State Election Commission voted unanimously to hold a re-vote at polling station 2011 in the municipality of Tearce.
According to simulations conducted by the IT sector at the SEC, the re-vote could affect the outcome of the elections, or the number of seats won by political parties in Constituency 6.
The re-vote at “Kiril Pejcinovic” primary school will be held on Sunday, December 25th.
Yesterday, the Council of the Administrative Court accepted the grounds of the appeal filed by SDSM and the coalition for this exact polling station after the SEC rejected their complaint.
The complaint and the appeal made by SDSM regarding this polling station were because, as the party stated, a ballot was missing at the beginning of the voting process, which was found in the ballot box together with the stack and serial number at the end of the count. Furthermore, in the confidential voting material, Form No. 15 was also on record as missing.
