-

On the 11th of December the MPs will have full schedule since this they will have to press the voting button 51 times as taken into account the number of topics in the agenda at the Parliamentary session scheduled for that day.

The session’s agenda consists of topics such as draft-laws, appointment of officials, ratification of international agreements, financial plans for regulatory bodies and whatnot

Among them are draft-laws for changing the regulation of the political and economical sphere for which a quick procedure is planned such as The Election Code, the Public Prosecution’s service Law, the Law on VAT, the Law on taxing personal income.

Otherwise, according to the Summary Report of the Index of the Parliament’s responsibility, transparency and productivity for the years 2017 and 2018 prepared by the civic association Most, during 2017, the Parliament has adopted 42 laws in total out of which there were 29 amendments to current laws and 9 ratification.

During 2018, the Parliament has adopted 265 laws, out of which 31 were new, 215 amendments and additions including 19 ratification.

The number of adopted laws was increased from 42 in 2017 to 265 in 2018, which is due to the fact that during the 5 months of 2017, the Parliament wasn’t functional due to the prolonging of the constitutive session.

The Parliament was most active in the process of adopting laws during the period between April – May 2018, where during each of these months 55 laws were adopted on average.
