The opposition, the SDSM and the NSDP reacted today to the news that the Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski handed in his resignation.
From the SDSM, they say that the resignation of Zoran Stavreski proves that the ‘familyβ are falling apart and from power.
βOne of the key figures of the regime has left the sinking ship. Zoran Stavreski has known for a long time that the economy is going down and the citizens are becoming poorer, while the βfamilyβ got rich. Everything has its beginning, and everything has its end. And the end of this regime is near. We wish Zoran Stavreski good health and to get well soonβ, said Damjan Manchevski.
The NSDP said that Stavreski resigned because he could not handle the pressure from his best man Β anymore, Nikola Gruevski.
βThe man who diagnosed the whole of Nikola Gruevskiβs government β βWe are crazyβ, has finally resigned. Along with Gordana Jankuloska, Mile Janakieski, Sasho Mijalkov, and just like Minister Ivo Ivanovski who fled to Bulgaria, now Zoran Stavreski has joined that list of Nikola Gruevskiβs officials who have all resigned. The NSDP expects the other members who perform ministerial roles at the βCriminal Associationβ to follow their example”, said the statement by the NSDP.
