The leaders of the VMRO DPMNE and the SDSM, Nikola Gruevski and Zoran Zaev, former ministers Mile Janakieski and Gordana Jankulovska, the former Director of the Security and Counterintelligence Agency, Saso Mijalkov, Secretary General of Government, Kiril Bozinovski are part of the 22 people who had their pardons annulled by President Gjorge Ivanov, reported “Telma” citing from the “Official Gazette”.
In the”Official Gazette” other names were listed such as; the President of the Parliament, Trajko Veljanoski, former President Branko Crvenkovski, DPA leader Menduh Thaci, former Minister for Agriculture, Ljupco Dimovski, adviser to the government, Martin Protogjer, member of the SEC, Bedredin Ibraimi, and officials from local government Koce Trajanovski, Irena Misheva, Toni Trajkovski, Vladimir Talevski and Vladimir Todorovic.
President Ivanov also annuled the pardons he granted to former intelligence officers Zoran Verushevski and Branko Palifrov, the Director of the prison “Idrizovo”, Zivko Pejkovski, senior official at the MOI, Toni Jakimovski, and member of the Municipal Election Commission for Cair, Ismet Guri.
Yesterday, President Ivanov yesterday revoked the pardons he granted to politicians on April 12, or more precisley 22 of the 56 people have had their pardons annuled. The others, who are not covered by today’s decision, will have the opportunity to submit personal requests to have their pardons withdrawn.
