Yesterday, members of the State Commission for Preventing Corruption returned from vacation and went back to work, informed the State Commission for Preventing Corruption for “Meta”.
On their daily agenda, there should have been a request by MPs from VMRO-DPMNE for the State Commission for Preventing Corruption to give their interpretation regarding Article 8-a of the Electoral Code, which, at the time of elections, in the case of local elections, forbids procedures such as employing new personnel or terminating of employment in state and public institutions. VMRO-DPMNE requested to stop the debate in Parliament regarding the dismissal of the Attorney General of the Republic of Macedonia, Marko Zvrlevski, until the State Commission for Preventing Corruption voices their opinion.
When there is information regarding the request, the public will be immediately informed, stated the State Commission for Preventing Corruption.
