This is part of the Emergency medical services (EMS) staff in Skopje that last Saturday (06.06.2020) worked a 12-hour shift from 7 am until 7 pm, providing help for numerous citizens in the capital. Most of the calls were from people who thought they have COVID-19, the sickness that is caused by the novel coronavirus.
These people are heroes – the ones who have the first contact with the sickness and sacrificing themselves in order to help their fellow citizens. Unfortunately, their self-sacrifice is seldom mentioned in the media and social networks.
