The Special Public Prosecution (SPP) has evidence that the wire tapping equipment was not only used by people working in the Interior Ministry, but “other people” outside the Ministry, said Prosecutor Lence Ristovska from the SPP when asked by the media.
Ristovski noted that these “other people” can not be named or even how many people used the equipment because the case is still in pre-trial proceeding conducted by the SPP.
“At this point, we can not say more, not to damage the investigation. We assure you that we have enough evidence to suggest that other people have used and abused the system to monitor communications within the ministry and outside of the ministry”, said Ristovska.
