The Committee on Finance and Budget has completed the amendment discussion about the draft-budget for 2018. Today’s debate was the third continuation of the 12th session that began on the 27th of November, and the Committee’s debate about the draft-bill, that was re-scheduled several times and postponed as well, in order to be finished on the 8th day out of the legally planned 10 days.
Out of 279 amendments that were submitted by VMRO-DPMNE and Besa’s MPs, only 6 have passed, out of which 4 are those submitted by VMRo-DPMNE’s MPs who didn’t take part in the debate.
At today’s debate, SDSM’s MP, Hari Lokvenec, has remarked that VMRO-DPMNE’s amendments as absurd, as out of 211 submitted amendments in 200 they are asking for funds for finishing the building of the Macedonian Philharmonic.
After the debate about the draft-budget for 2018 it will be returned to the government for a further analysis and then to state its opinion about the accepted amendments, Then, the draft-budget will be debated by the MPs on a plenary session.
