In accordance with the latest analysis we have successfully amortized the epidemic’s spread, and we have a linear growth of the number of infected patients. We are successfully dealing with the situation, the hospitals aren’t burdened at all, and all of the decisions that the government made gave good results. This is the reason to do a minor relaxation of movement restrictions, said the Health Minister Venko Filipche.
This will be discussed during tomorrow’s government session when a decision will be made when to apply the new measures. The new measures will be introduced on the account of rising the measures of population’s personal protection.
-The Commission of Infectuous Diseases will propose the Government a new set of measures for protection of the population. This combination of measures will allow the people to move with less restrictions. The curfew will start at 7pm instead of 4 pm. This will provide extra few hours for people to finish their obligations. Also, the proposed changes will allow adults to be able to go outside between 8 and 12 am. The youngsters at the age below 18, the time period when they will be able to go outside will be extended from 1 to 4 pm. There is also a proposal for the curfew to remain during the weekends but to start at Saturday at 1 pm and to end on Monday at 5 am – informs Filipche.
Regarding personal protection, the new measures will be introduced like wearing face masks in indoor spaces and in open air spaces when the citizens will not be able to keep the recommended distance of 2 meters.
-A face mask should be work in all indoor rooms. Wearing a face mask will be obligatory when visiting markets. An exemption will be made if the person is carrying protective gear at work, in the yard, if he is driving or exercising but is maintaining the necessary physical distance, if he is driving in a car with close family members. The citizens have to understand that they have to obey these measures – said Filipche.
