The Court has rejected the SPO’s request for precautionary measures for the”Alfa” team in the “Torture” case

The judge has rejected the request from the Special Prosecutor’s Office and did not determine precautionary measures to the commander of the “Alfa” police unit, Ivica Antevski – Puki, and five of his fellow colleagues who are also suspects in the “Torture” case, announced the Criminal Court on Thursday.

It took nearly 24 hours for the court to announce the outcome of the hearing of the six police officers who were brought before a judge yesterday.

They are being charged for the inhumane treatment while arresting Ljube Boskoski. The prime suspect in the case, which was opened by the SPO, is the former Director of the Security and Counter-Intelligence Agency, Saso Mijalkov, however, the SPO has not even asked for jail time or precautionary measures for the prime suspect.
