The countdown will not sway the Constitutional Court over the SPO

-

Almost certainly, Constitutional Judges at tomorrow’s session will consider the initiative on the constitutionality of the Law on the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office, which is one of the key demands of the citizens, organized by civil movements “I protest” and the “Colourful Revolution.”

The Constitutional Court told journalists at “Meta” that there will be no changes made to the agenda of the meeting scheduled for tomorrow, at 9:00 am, which was released last week.

“There will be no change in the agenda. The initiative you are asking about, like all other initiatives, are assigned to the reporting judge and you will be notified when the matter is put on the agenda”, said the General Secretary of the Constitutional Court, Olivera Filipovska.

Meanwhile, the protesters of the “Colourful Revolution” through guerilla-style actions are counting the days until Saturday, June 18, which is the deadline for the fulfillment of both their key requirements, the Constitutional Court to rule on the constitutionality of the Law on the SPO, and a stop to the persecution of protesters and the withdrawal of criminal charges against people protesting.

They declared that if their demands are not met by this date, “citizens will take justice into their own hands and in their own way”.
