The Director of the prison in Bitola “Crn Most”, Slavko Gacovski, and the Chief of the Department for Public Relations and Protocol of the Ministry of Interior, Natalija Spirova-Kordic, confirmed for “Meta” that security has been tightened in the prison and they have increased security measures such as more police officers, but not special forces.
Director Gacovski confirmed that “Crn Most” Prison is holding part of the terrorists from Divo Naselje, but did not reveal how many were behind bars or their identities.
Director Gacovski says that the information which had come to light recently was inaccurate, and that the guards weapons had not been taken off them, but they only carry weapons outside the accommodation facilities.
The MOI said they would explain and make a statement later, as to why security measures have been increased at the prison in Bitola.
