The reports by the European Commission provided for Macedonia’s progress in the past four years, show differences in frequencies of the use of certain keywords, which is an indicator of the deterioration of the situation in certain areas.
For example, the term “corruption” in a report in 2012 was mentioned 39 times, where as in 2013 it was mentioned 37 times , 49 times in 2014, however in 2015 it was 74, the number was much higher, reaching almost twice the number from the report four years ago.
The word “media” in the report in 2012 was mentioned 29 times, in 2013 it was mentioned 37 times, in 2014 it was 57 times, and in 2015 it was mentioned 74 times, which is more than double compared to the report of 2012.
Difference was observed in the use of the word “reform“, which in 2012 is mentioned 26 times, and in 2015 – 82 times, which is almost four times more.
Now the most popular term was “crisis” in 2012 it was mentioned only four times, however this year 22 times.
The government in 2012 was mentioned 71 times, and in the latest report 111 times.
The big difference was observed in the use of the words protests / demonstrations that in 2012 and 2013 were mentioned just once, but in 2015 these key words were used 13 times.
