Temelko is let out of detention and the court placed him under house arrest

The mayor of municipality Pustec in Albania, Edmond Temelko, who was charged in the SPO’s “Titanic” case, from the prison in Skopje in the area of Shuto Oriari he will be put under house arrest.

The Criminal court in Skopje has decided to change the measure detention with house arrest, confirms the court.

As the court informs, the decision was made after the received positive opinion by the Special Public Prosecution.

Several civic organizations, including VMRO-DPMNE, have called on for his release because of his worsened health situation.

Otherwise, the opposition VMRO-DPMNE announced a protest this evening in front of the government to protest the mayor’s detention.

Temelko is one of the accused of electoral frauds in the case of “Titanic.”

He was arrested in Skopje on the 26th of September.
