Taleski Will Be Placed Under House Arrest

The court have found the Mayor of Bitola Vladimir Taleseki, and officially served him with papers on the rules and regulation on house arrest for the “Transporter” case.

This exclusive news has been confirmed for “Meta” by the Criminal Court, Skopje. The court have said that Taleski’s defense attorney appealed the ruling.

No-one knew the whereabouts of Mayor Taleski for the last two days, since the measure for house arrest was imposed.

In Bitola, unofficially it being said that Taleski was hospitalized due to his health, others speculate that since his passport was taking from him by the court, he decided to relaxed and went somewhere, to a local beach from one of the countries lakes with his family.

It is currently unclear who will replace Taleski, however many Councillors are saying that the oldest Councillor will be elected by the Municipality of Bitola, Stojan Kulevski from the Democratic Alliance. Or maybe a Councilor from the seats of the VMRO-DPMNE, Zlatko Miloshevski who has been previous Mayor to Bitola and has served a several terms as Councilor.

In other places, the news of Taleski’s house arrest has caused quite a stir, especially with the employees at the Municipality of Bitola, who fear that they won’t receive wages for this moth, and have no clue what’s going on.
