Resignation and review on the work of the Bitola Mayor Vladimir Taleski today asked Bitola opposition SDSM and LDP. MP Vasko Kovachevski said that Deputy Prime Minister of Finance Zoran Stavreski in yesterday’s “bomb” of Zaev confessed corruption scandal initiated by Bitola Mayor Taleski.

– Finally we have recognition and proof that we were right all the time. Absurd, but real, recognition came from Minister Stavreski. We demand Taleski to resign. Given that through the hands of Taleski have passed more than 240 million euros from the municipal budget in the past 10 years, but Bitola continues to sink, the question is where did the money of Bitola citizens end up – said Kovachevski.
Mayor Taleski today told reporters that opposition can satisfy its wish on the elections.
– Resignation is their desire, and in order to be fulfilled, they need to go to the elections, with program and candidates who will be susceptible to corruption and manipulation, which will not deal with the abomination of their homeland. Even though I listened to the statement of their leader that he does not expect legal decision, I would very much like to see a legal decision – said Taleski.
Asked whether he would file criminal charges against Stavreski for heartache, he briefly replied that there is no need from that.
Asked how he felt while listening to the insults from the audio recording, Taleski replied that recordings that are now publicly announced shouldn’t be fully accepted as such.
He said that there is no crime in tenders for free transport and he is happy for the seriousness of Minister Stavreski.
– There is no corruption, no illegal operation and there is no crime in the entire procedure – said Taleski.
