If, next week’s parliamentary elections were to be held, then VMRO-DPMNE would win a 36.8% share of the vote, while the SDSM would win a 15.7% share from the public, this is according to a poll by “Brima Gallup” who were commissioned by the weekly “Republika” from the period between January 30 to February 4 2016, where they surveyed 1006 respondents, ethnic Macedonian’s, all aged over 18 years. Almost 56.6% of the respondents thought that the VMRO-DPMNE would win the election if early parliamentary elections are organized and all the parties participate. Only 12.4% believed that it would be SDSM. When it came to perceptions, 65.1% of respondents believed that VMRO-DPMNE has more support from the public and will win the election, compared to the 13% who believed that SDSM had the greater support.
