Two times a year (around New Year’s Day and during the summer) there are big sales of games on most platforms. The summer sale of GOG.com started and it will last from the 9th to the 28th of June.
The summer sales are excellent chance to buy the best titles and to get a game you really like and have waited a long time to get, and now it’s on a huge discount. One of those games is Witcher 3, coming with 80% discount and instead of paying 40 euros, one can now buy it for an exclusive price of just 8 euros. Other bestsellers are also on big discount.
Although Witcher 3 is one of the most awarded games up to date and probably one of the best RPG (Role Playing Game) games and her predecessor the game Witcher 2:The Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition is also one of the better RPG’s and is selling for a mere 3 euros while the regular price is 20 euros.
But the newest game Cyberpunk 2077 is not on discount at all. The game had problems with lots of bugs that stayed besides the patches.
There was a big hype about the game and when they released it, it looked like it needed a lot more work. Yet, it is still a good game, in the style of the books ofWilliam Gibson. While the books about the Witcher from Andrzej Sapkowski are linked thematically and with references in the games- the games offer totally new and different stories. The games themselves come with special bonus content like files with music, wallpapers and comics. But both these mentioned titles encourage reading books, which is a useful activity in any case.
