The Summer game fest 2021 started on the 10th of June. They announced a lot of new games on the stream that were mostly console games(although they say they will announce more PC games). The consoles are not so popular in North Macedonia because they cost as much as a new computer so there are more PC players although there are people that play both on consoles and PC. The main issue with the console players here is that there aren’t enough Playstation 5 consoles on sale.
The games they presented are of the highest quality, from games for kids they announced the new Sonic and Ratchet, and they also announced a lot of games for grownups like The Elden Ring, Evil Dead The Game (based on the comical-horror serial of TV Shows and movies with the same title) and many more. There was an announcement for Overwatch 2 where they presented new characters in the game. It’s interesting that you can play the game if you only own Overwatch 1 because Overwatch 1 and 2 will be linked. The graphics on the games are getting better and better and the developers try to be inventive.
In the summer period there will be more streams from this festival where a lot of gaming firms are joined. The first stream is now saved online and you can watch it, and for the next streams you can also find info on the same site:

From the presented games The Elden Ring makes the best impression, where J.R.R. Martin the writer of the book serial Game of Thrones has worked on the story, while the game itself reminds of Dark Souls 3, Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro. For the game itself there is a longer video on the stream on the site. As an honorable mention we can mention Lost Ark.
What’s interesting is they announced many more streams and events so we can see the newest games that are in development.
