Clashes between demonstrators and police in London

Thousands of activists last night took to the streets of Central London to mark the occasion of Guy Fawkes and to participate in an anti-capitalist demonstration, called the ‘Million Mask March’ . During the march, demonstrators clashed with the police.

Demonstrators were throwing fire-crackers and bottles at police, and some demonstrators were injured when police attempted to stop the protest. Three men were arrested, after acting suspiciously, and when they were searched, knives, smoke and paint bombs were found, stated the police.

The demonstrators, who many were wearing the widely known Anonymous mask, were chanting “One Solution, Revolution”  and “Whose streets? Our streets” clashed with police near Buckingham Palace, and the offices of British Prime Minister, David Cameron.
