NATO’s Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg together with the ambassadors of all countries members of the Alliance were hosted this morning with the highest state and military ceremonies in front of the Government’s plateau, which was followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.
The meeting between the North Atlantic Council and the Committee for NATO Accession including the representatives of the Government that will take place afterward will be presided over by Zaev and Stoltenberg.
Stoltenberg and the ambassadors of the North Atlantic Council will be received by the President Stevo Pendarovski.
NATO’s Secretary General arrived yesterday and attended a reception organized by the Parliament’s President, Talat Xhaferi.
– Soon, when the accession process is over, I look forward to welcoming North Macedonia as the Alliance’s 30th member. I would also like to see your flag in front of our headquarters in Brussels, including our missions and operations across the world- said Stoltenberg.
