The North Macedonia’s State Graduation Board accepted the proposal which envision that this year’s State graduation exams for the high school graduates will consist of four exams i.e. 2 external and 2 internal and a project task, informed the Ministry of Education and Science. In the next several days, the Board will prepare the new draft concept.

“At today’s online meeting, the Education and Science Minister, Mila Carovska and the Board representatives, among whom there were representatives of the Bureau for Development of the Education and the State Examination Center, stressed that with this conception of taking exams the quality of the state graduation exam isn’t derailed and the standard is maintained and is in the interest of all graduates,” stated the Ministry.

The compromise solution on the state graduation exams, which was accepted by the Union of High School Students is also acceptable for us, announced the Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia yesterday evening.

But, as the Union of High School Students stated, they will send the Government three more conditions which are prerequisite for accepting this proposal.
