Starting from Thursday, the curfew will begin at 7 pm during weekdays and at 3 pm during weekends

On its Facebook account, the Government informed that starting from Thursday, the 23rd of April it will relax the restrictions on movement.

“During weekdays, from Monday to Friday, the citizens will be allowed from 5 am until 7 pm. The ban on movement nationwide will start at 7 pm and will end at 5 am. For people older than 67 will be allowed to leave their homes each workday from 5 am until 12 at noon. People younger than 18 will be able to leave their homes during weekdays between 1 pm and -7 pm.” informs the Government.

The ban on movement between during weekends will also be relaxed.

“From now on, the weekend lockdown will start on Saturday at 3 pm, and will end on Monday at 5 am. On Saturday, the persons older than 67 will be allowed to leave their homes at 5 am until 11 am. On Saturday, people younger than 18 will be able to leave their homes between 12 am until 3 pm” additionally informed the government.

During today’s press conference, Prime Minister Oliver SPasovski informed that parallel to the increase of number of hours for movement, the measures regarding the wearing of protective gear will be severed,

Therefore, the citizens will be obliged to wear protection for their faces, such as masks, scarfs or when in open spaces where a distance of 2 meters cannot be maintained between people, such as markets.

The protective mask will have to be worn in markets, banks, public transportation and post offices.

Spasovski also informed that around the 1st of May, the government will be deciding whether to return the children at schools.
