Starting from the 10th of February, the Public Enterprise for State Roads will start using new freeway tolls for bikers. Last year, the bikers were put into a special category of vehicles – 1A category and they will be paying 40% less for freeway tolls compared to cars.
The fee for bikers will be 20 denars at turnpikes “Petrovec”, “Miladinovci”, “Tetovo”, “Gostivar”, “Glumovo” and “Zelino”.The freway toll in the amount of 40 denars will be paid at turnpikes “Romanovce” and “Stobi” while the paytoll for turnpikes Sopot and Otovica will cost 50 denars. The highest fee will be paid at the Gevgelija turnpike.
The move of bike into a new category of vehicles for freeway tolls is on upon request of the Motorbike Federation of Macedonia and was adopted by the Public Enterprise for State Roads towards the middle of 2019.
