I can strongly confirm that there is no longer illegal wiretaping and we can have expert controls, parliamentary controls at any time. We are at our disposal and we are open to make such controls based on legal regulations, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Oliver Spasovski, in Sunday’s interview with Radio Free Europe.
He also rejects allegations made by VMRO-DPMNE’s that the Interior Ministry was involved and abused the campaign of SDSM, by carrying out police interventions against VMRO-DPMNE activists and the mayoral candidate in Novo Selo.
He also says that the Interior Ministry could not wait to go to the polls to initiate criminal charges against mayors from VMRO-DPMNE, some of which are again candidates for the party for those functions.
