Spasovski: We do not want to govern together with VMRO-DPMNE

-

“VMRO-DPMNE have violated the Przhino Agreement. Assistant Special Prosecutors have not yet been selected, and the Special Prosecutor can not begin to work”, said the Secretary General Oliver Spasovski from SDSM at a press conference.

He said that it is obvious that VMRO-DPMNE are not ready to face the responsibility.

“No agreement has been made on the law for government which provides power and authority to Ministers and Deputy Ministers. Obviously VMRO-DPMNE are scared that all their crimes will be discovered”, said Spasov.

Asked by journalists if it was true that the SDSM during negotiations were seeking amnesty for Verushevski, Spasovski replied that it was pure speculation and it is obvious that VMRO-DPMNE wants to obtain amnesty for its own members. But “here, lies are being told on a mass level,” he said.

When asked about allegations made by Milososki that SDSM are not constructive and stalled negotiations, Spasovski said it was evident who was stalling.

“Regarding suggestions we have proposed during these talks, we ask no more than that provided by the Przhino Agreement nor accept anything less. About the Ministers and Deputy Ministers to be appointed, we do not want to govern together with VMRO-DPMNE, but be certain to create conditions for free and fair elections. VMRO-DPMNE will be the only culprit if Macedonia loses its recommendation”, said Spasovski

He said that today bilateral meetings were held, and that the SDSM are ready to resume talks to reach an agreement.
