The Constitutional Court filed a request for interpretation of the law about the Special Public Prosecutor, but some people in Parliament consider that this request should not be put on the agenda, said facilitator Peter Vanhoutte.
“Although the law for a Special Prosecutor is very clear and specific, her work has been obstructed”, he said.
The Council of Public Prosecutors did not want to vote the additional Assistant Prosecutors.
Progress in this field is almost impossible if one of the parties does not want to vote on the Electoral Code until the problem is resolved with the Special Prosecutor.
