The two preconditions have been fulfilled, which we had created and believed necessary for a leaders’ meeting, to conduct quick, fair, free and democratic elections, said the spokesperson for the SDSM, Petre Shilegov.
“Two of the preconditions have been fulfilled, and that was delaying the elections due to unfulfilled conditions and the annulment of the presidential pardons. Therefore, now, there are conditions for a leaders’ meeting. It is necessary to have a meeting between the leaders or some sort of political dialogue with a goal, as soon as possible so all parties can agree and meet the requirements to allow Macedonia to conduct quick, fair, free and democratic elections”, added Shilegov.
Petre Shilegov in a statement to the media said that it is a priority for the Constitutional Court to determine the constitutionality of the Law on the SPO, because it is the only way to ensure the smooth operation of the only independent institution in the country, who truly fight crime and corruption.
